Intro

Building practical systems with a clear move toward AI

I am Satyajit Samal, currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence at Chandigarh University after completing my B.Tech in Computer Science. I have 1 year of software development experience at EduSkills Foundation, and I build product-focused software with a full-stack foundation and a growing focus on practical AI implementation.

My direction is toward applied AI engineering, where model capability is paired with product clarity, reliable backend behavior, and grounded outputs.

Long term, I want to build intelligent product systems that are technically rigorous, useful in day-to-day work, and clear enough for teams to maintain.

What I am focused on now

This is where most of my energy is currently going.

Applied AI in product flows

Designing assistant and recommendation patterns that are useful inside real interfaces, not isolated demos.

Next: Go deeper on evaluation, retrieval grounding, and response quality controls.

Full-stack reliability

Strengthening API contracts, auth boundaries, and clean state flow across frontend and backend.

Next: Ship more multi-role products with clear architecture documentation.

Research-backed implementation

Translating research and technical reading into product decisions, experiments, and writing.

Next: Publish more implementation-first notes connecting theory to shipped features.

Communication and execution

Improving how I explain tradeoffs, write technical context, and deliver features with less ambiguity.

Next: Keep building a portfolio where every project has clear problem, system, and outcomes.

My journey so far

A concise timeline of where I started, what changed, and where I am headed.

2020 - 2024

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

Built my engineering foundation through full-stack projects, frontend implementation, backend workflows, and core system fundamentals.

2024 - 2025

Software Developer - EduSkills Foundation

Completed one year of software development experience focused on feature implementation, API integration, and delivery discipline in practical product workflows.

2025 - Present

M.E. in Artificial Intelligence - Chandigarh University

Now deepening AI understanding while continuing to build full-stack products with stronger architecture, grounded AI behavior, and production-minded execution.

Now -> Next

Now to next: AI-focused product engineering

Focused on building practical AI-powered systems and contributing through internship, freelance, and full-time opportunities where execution quality and product thinking matter.

What drives me

I am trying to become an engineer who can think clearly under constraints and still deliver practical outcomes. I enjoy the part where messy problems become understandable systems.

The builder I want to become is someone teams trust for both execution and judgment: able to ship features, explain tradeoffs, and keep improving with each release.

Opportunities I am looking for

  • - Frontend or full-stack roles with meaningful product ownership
  • - Applied AI engineering tracks where grounding and reliability matter
  • - Internship, freelance, and full-time opportunities with shipping-focused teams

About AI

Ask about my background

Ask direct questions about my path, current focus, role direction, and project strengths. Answers stay grounded to portfolio data.

Ask about education, current learning track, why AI is a focus area, or preferred team/problem types.

Active coding consistency

A live contribution snapshot to show ongoing build rhythm.
